FF&E MANAGEMENT & PROCUREMENT

Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) put the final touches to a new project, or can bring life to an existing installation, thus holds an integral part in most of our clients projects.

Our dedicated FF&E team works with clients and consultants to develop project requirements, source products and oversee the effective procurement and installation of these items on site.

FF&E Management services are catered specifically for each project, however can include services such as:

  • Development of the Client FF&E requirements brief for new and refurbishment works

  • Development of FF&E budget

  • Consolidation of complete costing for various supplier options (local and international) including delivery, taxes & duties, lead time and the like to present a complete overview for decision making by the Stakeholder/Client team

  • Work in conjunction with client or consultant teams to ensure an integrated procurement and delivery approach

  • Support Value Engineering

  • Undertake site assessments to validate Client Asset Registers and assess items for re-use or replacement/refurbishment (or generation of asset register where required)

  • Consolidate documentation for tendering/procurement of FF&E items including information on: delivery schedules, unloading requirements, protection, insurances, waste removal, site regulations and similar

  • Provide suitable supplier options to the Client for procurement of FF&E items including management of procurement brief, obtaining quotations, negotiating final pricing and awarding of supply Contracts

  • Arrange supplier presentations, workshop inspections, site visits, material samples and similar

  • Liaison with Client procurement team for procurement of such items under the Clients internal systems (as required)

  • Management of approval process for shop drawings, samples and similar to ensure the best outcome for the project

  • Quality Control of FF&E items including factory inspections, furniture pre-shipment inspections, receipt inspections and implementation of storage on site controls

  • Provide recommendations to the Client/Quantity Surveyor regarding payments for FF&E items through the project life cycle

  • Manage final placement/installation of FF&E items through to operational handover of the site

  • Development of a final asset register including labeling of items/equipment under that register
